October 2025: Makeovers, Doctors Appointments, & Missing Kenya

Hello friends, It’s been a while since we last updated you. I was waiting to get more information about my health, but now I’m long overdue. Since the last update in July, I have had many doctor’s appointments and lab visits. Infectious Disease, Neurologist, Endocrinologist, Gastroenterologist, Hematologist, MRI of the brain, PET scan, and boneContinue reading “October 2025: Makeovers, Doctors Appointments, & Missing Kenya”

April 2025

Hello friends, we hope you are doing well. Naomi and I are both currently in NYC. After “springing ahead” an hour and with the magnolias and dogwoods flowering in the city, we are experiencing the beauty of the changing seasons. When I returned from Kenya on March 19, I cleaned out our window box andContinue reading “April 2025”

October 2024

Hello from NYC, The cooler mornings tell us that seasons are changing. We have very few trees in our neighborhood in Queens, and I miss seeing the beautiful fall foliage. I planted some mums in our window box, and little things like that bring us much joy. We have some updates on what God isContinue reading “October 2024”

March 2024: Our Latest Trip to Kenya

Happy almost spring from New York City. The flowers and the magnolia trees remind us of new life, but the cold wind chills remind us to keep our gloves and scarves handy. Last Saturday, I planted two pansies in our window box. The colorful flowers provide some beauty to the limited view outside our window.Continue reading “March 2024: Our Latest Trip to Kenya”

Happy Thanksgiving 2023

Hello Everyone, Happy Thanksgiving to you and your families. We just finished Operation Drumstick with NYSUM in NYC. This included leading homeless outreaches with several short-term mission teams serving around 2,500 turkey dinners. I (Paul) was in Kenya from October 2nd to November 4th. I started in Namanga, where I followed up on some cabinetContinue reading “Happy Thanksgiving 2023”

Hello again, once again it has been awhile since our last update. I’ll try to update you with the what, when and where.  Our June-August schedule was full with short term teams from across the country and Canada. One night in July returning from leading an outreach team I fell asleep standing up on theContinue reading “September 2023”

Fall 2022

Hello friends and family, It’s time for another update: August found us continuing to serve in New York City. Late summer saw us leading some short-term mission teams, partnering with NYSUM, and time on the streets meeting the needs of our homeless friends. We also traveled to North Carolina to share how God is atContinue reading “Fall 2022”

March 2021: Our Trip to Kenya

Greetings from New York City, Yesterday, Naomi and I returned from three weeks in Kenya. We were back in the community that we have been investing in for the past three years. Although we are exhausted, this time, we returned in good health. I will do my best to share our latest experiences through theContinue reading “March 2021: Our Trip to Kenya”

April 2019

As I write this, Naomi and I are on our return flight to JFK. We have experienced so much the past two months that I could write a book, but I will try to just recount the highlights. We left the U.S. back in January. Our destination was on the Kenya Uganda border to aContinue reading “April 2019”

Fall 2018

Dear Friends and family, Greetings! We are excited to share what God has been doing in our lives over the last few months. Most of the month of September was spent in NYC. We were able to help Bible College students with urban ministry and continuing to invest in people that are forgotten. One ofContinue reading “Fall 2018”
